A sequence, not a calendar.

Read, Make, Open, Widen. Slow and careful at the front, unsentimental later, because nearly every costly mistake in this work is made in the first two weeks.

From first email

How an engagement actually unfolds.

Typically three to four weeks from first contact to work beginning. Most of that is scoping rather than queueing.

Week 1
A call with the person who would run itNot a salesperson. We want the commercial picture: what you sell, the margin on it, how long a sale takes, what has been tried and what the number genuinely has to reach. You leave with an honest read whether or not it goes anywhere.
Week 1-2
A read-only auditWith view access we examine the site, the ad accounts, the conversion path, the tracking and the search landscape. The output is a written baseline: what works, what leaks, what cannot currently be measured, and what we would repair first.
Week 2-3
Scope and signatureA document setting out deliverables, dates, named people, the single number we are steering by, the fee and the cancellation terms. Nothing is left vague and nothing begins before both sides sign. Advertising budgets stay in your own accounts.
Week 3-6
Build and launchDelivery in two-week increments. Tracking first, then the build, then the search and advertising behind it. You see working output every two weeks rather than a reveal at the end.
Ongoing
Run and reviewA written note each week, a working session each month, and a proper review every quarter where we decide together what grows, what gets rebuilt and what we stop doing. Month to month after the first quarter, thirty days notice either way.
Where we hold the line

Things we will not do.

Each of these has cost us work at some point. We would rather lose the project than the argument.

01
Sell you work you do not needIf the arithmetic does not support the spend yet, we will say so on the first call rather than take the retainer.
02
Take a cut of your mediaAdvertising budget goes from your card to the platform. Our fee is separate, visible and does not move when your spend does.
03
Hold your property hostageAccounts, data, domains, creative files and source code are yours from the first day and leave with you on the last.
04
Report on flattering numbersImpressions and engagement are useful for diagnosis and useless as a headline. The headline is the number in the scope.
05
Promise a resultWe guarantee the scope, the people and complete candor about what the data says. Anyone guaranteeing a ranking or a return is guessing with your money.
06
Quietly cut corners on privacyIf a tracking approach would create a consent problem, you will hear about it from us before it is built, not from a regulator afterwards.
